Our website is being designed to be a valuable tool for you, our current or prospective patient, to use to help contact us or to answer a question you may have about your dental treatment or our practice.  With this new website, we now have a great online patient library that can help explain dental treatment and answer some questions you may have.  Check out the lower left part of the screen when you click on the link.

What We Do

We offer a variety of dental services including cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, dental implant restorations, dentures, extractions, whitening options for your teeth, children's dental services, and more.

Your First Visit

If you are coming from another dental practice and have current information there (x-rays or treatment records, typically), download this form , sign it, and forward it to your previous office.  This could save you some time and allow us to get a more accurate picture of your dental condition and dental history.  We may not have to take x-rays on the day of your first appointment if you have current x-rays in hand.

When you come in, we’ll ask you to fill out a patient questionnaire and medical history. To save you some time, feel free to print the New Patient forms from here , fill them out, and bring them with you.  These forms are important—they help determine the course of your treatment. We have to know about allergies, sensitivity to anesthetics, long-term medications—your whole health picture!

By the way, your privacy is important to us as well.  If you are interested in learning about our privacy practices, please click here .

Then we’ll examine your teeth, gums, and soft tissues. We’ll take digital x-rays to look for areas of decay and possible infection that require treatment. Finally, the hygienist will perform the recommended dental cleaning.

At the conclusion of this visit, we will discuss what we found during the course of the appointment and schedule appropriately.

*****PLEASE READ!!*****   Coronavirus Protocols

Our community has been through a lot over the past few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines.  While many things have changed, our commitment to your safety has not.

We look forward to opening our doors again on Monday May 11, 2020 and have taken steps to help ensure your safety and our safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office.  Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it is both safe and comfortable.  We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.  We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment.  We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.  For example:

--Come alone if possible.  One person in addition to the patient can come back if absolutely needed, but that person should bring their own face mask to wear and will be screened also.

--Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions.  You’ll be asked these same questions again when you are in the office to confirm that nothing has changed.

--We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.  You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.

--When you do enter our office, we will be taking your temperature before taking you to the back.  This is for your protection, our protection, and everyone else’s protection.

--Our waiting area is closed.  That means we ask that you arrive to our office and then call our front desk to check in with us BEFORE GETTING OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE!  Leave a message if we can’t answer right away.  We will guide you through your next steps from there.

--Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.  That might mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.  To make an appointment, please call our office at (336) 768-3314.  Be aware that our office will be a little cooler to account for the added protective equipment we will be wearing, so please dress and plan accordingly.

Thank you for being our patient.  We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.

Sincerely,

Dr Michel and Team
